Informal networking session held for members of the technopreneur ecosystem
KUALA LUMPUR – Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd (Cradle) recently held a ‘Loh Sang’ cum networking event with members of the technopreneurs ecosystem and the media in celebration of Chinese New Year. Held on 9 February at the Westin Kuala Lumpur this year, the gathering saw the attendance of over 100 people, including Cradle grant recipients and other entrepreneurs, industry partners, members of the media and Cradle personnel.
“At Cradle, we believe that events such as this are necessary to remind us to connect with one another. Often, an important key to being a successful entrepreneur is to have your finger on the pulse of technological developments. At networking sessions such as this, members of the technopreneur ecosystem can exchange information on what’s been done, what doesn’t work, what has been overdone, where to gain knowledge and assistance and other information that helps them develop ideas and innovations that work and can also be found at such events, which can be very beneficial in helping us realise we are not alone in our entrepreneurial journey, especially when times are tough,” said Nazrin Hassan, Chief Executive Officer of Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd.
To add more benefit to the session, Cradle’s guests were treated to a short talk by well-known business coach Richard Wong, Chairman of Vistage Malaysia on how to face challenges in business, coaching others and managing human capital.
Cradle celebrates Chinese New Year with an informal networking session on an annual basis, as an opportunity to get together amongst Cradle’s personnel, entrepreneurs, partners and members of the media, as well as an appreciation event for all parties that have supported the agency throughout the past year.
